Hi Friends! Today, I want to share a card I made inspired by Gina K’s Wreath Builder. I decided I just wanted to sit down and play with her stencil. I decided I wanted to keep it as a square shape and add some spooky elements. I just love when you start off with a simple idea and it just starts coming together the more you work at it.

To begin, I pulled out my smallest wreath builder stencil and cut a piece of white 110pd Recollections Cardstock down to 2 ⅜”. I set up my stencil in the Hero Arts Misti Edition and opened up my new Hero Arts September Card Kit. I’m not usually a stamper who loves sets with a lot of tiny pieces but this kit just spoke to me. This is why I decided to create a card a little bit different so I could incorporate those little stamps in a fun way.

Next, I picked out the middle sized tree and the smallest tree along with Catherine Pooler’s Eucalyptus and Sage Ink. Once I completed my wreath, I picked out the images and sentiment which I then stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. I also added a few Stampin Up Faceted Dots for a bit of bling. I put a small amount of Royal Treatment Ink around my wreath to also help it stand out from the background.

I found a pretty piece of background paper from the Midnight Haunting Paper Pad and added a bow with Stampin Up’s Glittered Organdy Ribbon. I love how this card came out and hope I inspired you to create some of your own non-traditionalHalloween cards! I hope you enjoyed! Thank you, Alli with AlliKCreations.
