Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with an Inspiration project I have made using the July 2020 Create and Inspire Card Kit. I am having so much fun with this kit and am so happy to be able to share this fun project with you today.
The first step for making this project was trying to decide which of the fun projects going through my brain I wanted to do first. So here it goes.
I took my wreath builder stencil and taped it down in my stamp positioner as I did not want it to move. I placed my card panel in the template and positioned the stencil where I wanted the fern leaf to fall, and taped the stencil to the template. Using Bundled Sage Distress Oxide and a blender brush I added the leaf all around the panel.
Next on the Neenah Desert Storm Cardbase (I cut the sheet of cardstock that came with the kit in half to make an A2 Cardbase, side folding), I used the cloud/grass stencil and with the Bundled Sage Oxide I inked the grass at the bottom of my card base.
Using Tumbled Glass I inked up the cloud part of the stencil at the top of my card base.
To finish up, I looked through my stash of cardstock and found the Spring Whimsy paper pad from MFT and grabbed this page of Fern Leaves that looks like my stenciled images, cut this down to 4”x4” and attached my 3.75”x3.75” square, and then attached it to my card base. Finishing touches was adding the “Hello Friend” sentiment from the kit’s sentiment stamps to the center of my panel, and a gemstone to the base of each fern leaf.
I hope you have enjoyed my project today, and if you haven’t picked up your kit yet, please do so before they are sold out!!!
