Getting the Most from your Ink Blended Panels with Donna Kreeber

Ink blending with stencils is my favorite technique, but sometime it can become a little repetitive. Today I am sharing with you a card I created by using only a portion of an ink blended panel, and saving the rest for another project.

I started by using the Grid stencil by Simon Says Stamp and did some simple ink blending with Distress Oxides and a makeup brush.

Next, I cut down my panel to create a strip for my card and layered that onto some black cardstock.

For my sentiment, I used the Happy Expressions die from Spellbinders. I used white cardstock for the word and added a bit of color with the same Distress Oxides I used for the background. I layered that onto the shadow die, cut with black cardstock.

Finally, I added my word die and a sentiment strip and finished off with a few Nuvo drops.
